ICG DECT Cordless Handset

The ICG DECT Cordless Handset is an ergonomic and stylish handset adapted for aeronautical applications. This device is based upon the proven DECT technology with modifications to make the device compliant with requirements for fire retardency and emissions. A custom-designed latching, charging cradle permits mounting and restraint of the device in the aircraft cabin.

In addition, active noise reduction has been enabled to reduce cabin noise transmission and an auto shut off circuit is installed to automatically turn off the handset upon loss of aircraft power or extended non-use, preserving battery power. Multiple cordless units can be installed in the aircraft cabin, either mounted into the drink rails or fastened to a bulkhead. Each system provides a single telephone circuit connected to a CTU system or transceiver via a standard 2-Wire telephone circuit. Can have a bulkhead mount magnetic card reader attached for applications where credit card calling is required.
