NEWPORT NEWS, VA –(MARCH 4, 2010) – International Communications Group (ICG), a Newport News, Virginia-based producer of aeronautical communications systems for business and commercial aviation, will exhibit several of its Iridium satellite compatible products at the upcoming Regional Forum sponsored by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) at TWC Aviation at the Van Nuys Airport on March 11, 2010.

“ICG is committed to supporting our corporate aviation clients in the same 24/7 fashion we’ve demonstrated with our airline customers.  As leaders in the development of state-of-the-art devices that expand the capabilities and reduce the workload on the flight deck and enhance comfort and convenience in the cabin, we’re focused on ensuring safety and redundancy to pilots and productivity and accessibility to their passengers--regardless of where and when  they fly,” said Jo Kremsreiter, ICG’s Western Sales Director.  “We’re looking forward to this opportunity to display some of our key business aviation products to the NBAA Regional Forum attendees and support our dealers who will also be participating in the event,” he added.

ICG’s exhibit will include its NxtLink 120A and 220A transceivers, designed specifically to interface with most of the Control Display Units (CDUs) and Multipurpose Control Display Units (MCDUs) currently available on business aircraft, including those used by the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 system.  A low-cost CIS-100 Iridium Satellite Phone (with a Manufacturer’s Suggest Retail Price (MSRP) of $15,995), and a NxtMail server will also be featured.

The NxtLink 120A and 220A transceivers are designed to meet the needs associated with Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting Systems (ACARS), Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Contract (ADS-C), Controller Pilot Datalink Communications (CPDLC) and Future Air Navigation System (FANS) messaging.

The NxtMail server provides a local Wireless Access Point (WAP) in the aircraft cabin that allows WiFi capable personal devices to send and receive e-mails and browse the Internet.  It offers multiple serial ports, fax dialup data interface, Ethernet, and Universal Serial Bus (USB) connectivity and functions as an internal router and a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) server to permit access for up to 10 user devices.

ICG will provide product demonstrations throughout the day and will collaborate with its dealers to provide prospects with installation quotations, Kremsreiter noted.
