For a third straight year, International Communications Group (ICG) has been listed among Virginia?s most successful small, entrepreneurial companies. The “Fantastic 50” designees for 2008 were honored by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce earlier this month. The list recognizes the state?s fastest growing companies and salutes their contribution to Virginia?s economic vitality.

ICG, which has experienced double digit growth in revenues and employment over the past four years, has moved up steadily in the rankings. The “Fantastic 50” rankings are based on those two parameters over a four-year period. The company made its first appearance on the list in 2006, ranked at number 39. In 2007, the firm made the list at number 20. This year, ICG has moved up to number 17. Companies are nominated for consideration by local chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and small business development centers. To be eligible, they must be privately held, headquartered in Virginia and have sales between $200,000 to $100 million annually.
